Hey, look, it’s Jurassic 5, and we’re not talking about the sequel to Jurassic World. We’re talking, of course, about the L.A. hip-hop group, which this week released their first new song in two years. It’s called “Customer Service,†and it’s built off a funky sample from Edwin Birdsong’s “The Spirit of Do … Do.†The title is a little bit of a joke — they’re touring this summer, so of course they need a new song. Can you imagine the uproar if a legacy act toured without playing any new stuff? People would riot!
