Ricky Gervais’s Office spinoff movie David Brent: Life on the Road is coming to theaters this summer (if you live in the U.K., Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand) or Netflix next year (if you don’t). Either way, Friday brings its official trailer, which sees the former paper-company manager going on tour with his band Foregone Conclusion, with predictably disastrous results. The original Office cut David’s cringe-worthy antics with the Tim-and-Dawn romance, Gareth’s Garethness, and Keith’s love of Scotch eggs — will this movie be too much Brent? It’s like “Freelove Freeway†— that song would be nothing without the backing vocals!
