The first teaser for Sarah Jessica Parker’s divorce comedy called — wait for it — Divorce has arrived via Parker’s Instagram, and it contains all of the fifty-something romantic ennui you would hope and expect from Manhattan’s foremost leading lady. Parker plays Frances, a woman in New York City who enters into divorce proceedings with her soon-to-be ex-husband Robert, portrayed by a mustachioed Thomas Haden Church. (Molly Shannon and Talia Balsam will also appear in supporting roles.) If you like Catastrophe, give the show a try — Divorce is created and executive-produced by Sharon Horgan. And for the fashionistas, the coat budget is sure to be insane. It’ll premiere on HBO this fall.
