That’s Madame President to you. When Homeland makes its return to Showtime in early 2017 for its sixth season, it’ll bring with it one new important addition to the cast — Elizabeth Marvel has joined the political thriller as the president of the United States. She’ll specifically be portraying president-elect Elizabeth Keane, a “bright, charming, lively, and blunt,†former junior senator who has yet to be inaugurated when the sixth season picks back up. Marvel previously portrayed Heather Dunbar, a former presidential candidate on House of Cards, for three seasons. Art predicting life, perhaps?
