After two trailers that showed off Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling’s singing chops (which you can view below), the latest trailer for La La Land focuses on the colorful beauty of Los Angeles itself. As it turns out, freeway commuting mostly involves dancing on cars. Stone, who’s got major awards buzz for her performance, and Gosling play a struggling actress and a musician who fall in love, talk about artistic fulfillment, and are generally way too adorable. The film is Damien Chazelle’s follow-up to Whiplash. There will be singing. There will be whistling. There will be John Legend and talk about jazz. La La Land opens December 16.
