It might already be August, but on Tuesday, Ariana Grande dropped two previously unreleased singles on her SoundCloud for your Song of the Summer consideration. While both songs are more bubblegum pop than Grande’s dance-y “Into You,†which is currently doing well on the radio, there’s no denying the peppy beats of “Voodoo Love†and “OG Honeymoon Ave.†The latter, which is an alternate take of the first track off her Yours Truly album, has the vibe of a ’60s throwback with the Dap-Kings — Funk Goddess Sharon Jones’s band — lending their sound. So, put that hair in a high ponytail, grab a doughnut, and ride out the rest of the season listening to the feel-good candy below.
