NBCUniversal and Snapchat are partnering for a new deal that will help skew the network’s demographic younger, increase tech synergy, and blah blah blah — point is, The Voice really wants the teens. Its plan to woo them, per Variety, lies in a Voice Snapchat series, debuting August 22, which will feature the coaches for the upcoming season “as well as user-submitted performance videos,†which will give a lucky few the chance to appear on the show’s September 19 broadcast premiere. The network is also planning Snapchat shows for SNL and The Tonight Show, so get excited for that inevitable, horrifying filter that swaps your face with Jimmy Fallon’s.
