As the world waits with bated breath for Taylor Swift to unravel her master scheme, her label is here to throw you off her scent. Scott Borchetta, president and CEO of Big Machine Records, has addressed a Twitter theory that Taylor’s next album — like pretty much all of her albums — will drop this October, responding with a big fat “nope.†So, case closed, huh? Nope! Because while four of Taylor’s five albums have been released in October, do remember that her crossover album, 2008’s Fearless, arrived in November and that, for the last ten years, Taylor has released an album every two years. In other words, #T6 is due. Swift has said she’s on a break post-1989 — presumably to improve her studies in the art of walking sideways and staged romance — but during that supposed break she also wrote a Calvin Harris and Rihanna hit. We’re onto you, Swift.
