Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them has a whole trailer and hits theaters this November, but perhaps it’s never too late to add some American rock royalty to your cast of notable Brits. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Zoe Kravitz has just come on board the Harry Potter prequel, which is currently in post-production. The actress will reportedly have only a small part in the film, but since a sequel has already been green-lit and scheduled for release in November of 2018, it’s possible she could take on a larger role in the next installment. Fantastic Beasts tells the story of Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne), a Magizoologist who travels to New York 70 years before the events of Harry Potter to embed with a group of witches and wizards and document magical creatures. The text he creates eventually ends up as an instructional book at Hogwarts. So maybe we’ll be seeing Kravitz in the PotterWorld for years until the timelines match up, because Hollywood loves an expanded universe.
