TVLine reports Game of Thrones’ Richard Madden has been cast as the lead in Amazon’s sci-fi pilot Strange New Things, a title you have to bet Amazon is kicking themselves over right now. Based on Michel Faber’s novel The Book of Strange New Things, the show will star Madden as a priest who goes on a missionary trip into deep space, and ends up missing his wife a whole lot. The show’s title was announced back in June, but that probably won’t stop anyone from making fun of it today.
