Midway through his headlining performance at the Meadows Music and Arts Festival, Kanye West abruptly ended his set. According to concertgoers, the rapper was performing “Heartless†when he appeared to get news from someone offstage. He then announced, “I’m sorry there’s been a family emergency,†and then exited. The show ended minutes later around 9:40 p.m.; West was scheduled to perform until 10:00 p.m. After the show was cancelled, a spokesperson for West’s wife, Kim Kardashian, told CNN that the reality star was held at gunpoint in Paris. Kim was “badly shaken but physically unharmed.â€
