When Price Is Right host Drew Carey dropped by Stephen Colbert’s Late Show last night, he might’ve expected to reminisce about his Whose Line days and briefly touch on the many joys of the most-cherished game in the world, Plinko. But alas! Colbert had a surprise treat in store … which sadly wasn’t an impromptu game of Plinko. (Next time, then? Carey does give some hot Plinko tips, though.) Colbert’s working theory was if you inserted the game show’s instantly recognizable theme song into any unpleasant cinematic moment, it would immediately render the scene happy and enjoyable. And you know what? He’s obviously correct. You have some competition, Dire Straits.
