Seth Meyers Takes ‘A Closer Look’ at the Trump Tape Fallout on ‘Late Night’

Late Night kicked off its week of shows in Washington DC last night, and during the “A Closer Look� segment Seth Meyers examined the fallout from the leaked Trump tape, including the Today show’s decision to suspend host Billy Bush, how Trump supporters like Paul Ryan have distanced themselves from Trump but haven’t renounced him, and Trump’s excuse that it was all just “locker room talk� during the debate. “First of all, no it’s not – that is not the way men in locker rooms talk. Second of all, this is the problem: Trump treats the entire world like the inside of a men’s locker room,� Meyers says. “And you just know he’s the locker room type who towel dries his hair while he’s buck naked with one leg up on the bench so everyone has to avert their eyes to avoid looking at his saggy ball sack.�
