Here’s a clip from last night’s Late Night, where Seth Meyers responds to Donald Trump’s 1995 tax records published by The New York Times that show Trump claimed over $900 million in losses, which would allow him to legally not pay any federal income taxes for the next 18 years. Meyers has a few interesting theories about why, despite the 1995 records being released, Trump won’t release the rest of his tax returns. “I think you’re poor. I think you pretend to be rich, but you’ve been going town to town for 18 months selling cheap hats,†he says. “Or maybe you don’t want to be president because you assumed it paid a billion dollars a year and then found out it was only $400,000, and now…oh my God, now you’re panicking and you’re desperate to find a way out and…that’s it!
