A year to the day after Prince’s death, he will be honored with a massive festival at his beloved home. Paisley Park, which has since been turned into a museum, has announced four days of events called Celebration 2017 to take place April 20–23 at Prince’s Chanhassen, Minnesota, studio. Tickets will run you upward of $500 to memorialize the Purple One, but for that hefty price, you’ll get to attend concerts from his backing bands The Revolution, New Power Generation, 3rdEyeGirl, plus Morris Day and the Time, Liv Warfield, and Shelby J. It’ll also buy you access to a guided tour of Paisley Park and panel discussions scheduled to mark the one-year anniversary of Prince’s death last April. The celebration is said to be an expanded version of 2000’s Prince: A Celebration festival, which also allowed fans into Paisley Park (and also featured performance from Prince). Last month’s official Prince tribute included some of the same names involved in this one, as well as stars like Stevie Wonder, Christina Aguilera, and more.
