ABC Orders ‘Libby & Malcolm’ Pilot Starring Felicity Huffman and Courtney B. Vance

ABC has a new show in the works from Black-ish’s Kenya Barris and Vijal Patel. According to Variety, the network has given a pilot order to a single-cam comedy starring Felicity Huffman and Courtney B. Vance called Libby & Malcolm. The series is described as “a blended family show about two polar-opposite political pundits who fall in love despite all odds and form an insta-family, as well as a work partnership,� with Huffman playing a “strong, brilliant, white Republican� and Vance playing “a liberal pundit and father of three kids who arms himself with cold hard facts and an irresistible easy charm that wins over everyone he meets.�
