Much like Michelle Obama, Diane Lockhart was not a happy camper on January 20, 2017. CBS All Access’s Good Wife spinoff The Good Fight stars Christine Baranski as her TGW character Diane Lockhart, and takes place roughly within the confines of our universe (but with better statement jewelry). So after the election, the show rushed into reshoots — having assumed, like most of us, that Hillary would win — and inserted a crushing scene of Diane watching Trump’s inauguration into the pilot. You can watch it about six minutes into Baranski’s interview with Stephen Colbert above, and thank the heavens that you’ve never been subjected to the pure fury Diane directs at that TV remote.
