Like beasts in the wild, we all deserve to have the daily minutiae of our lives scored by a full orchestra. Soon, Hans Zimmer will be the legend up for the job. He’s about to embark on his first-ever U.S. tour, which includes a stop at the most unnatural habitat of Coachella (where the only wildlife left will be the throngs of teens). Because few in the States know what to expect from the composer’s live show, he stopped by The Late Show on Tuesday night for a test run, to perform his majestic score from Planet Earth II, so you, too, can feel like a penguin preparing to take a dramatic cliff-dive.
