After being particularly rattled by the fact that the new POTUS couldn’t name the three parts of the nuclear triad in an old debate and regurgitates most of his information from cable news, the Last Week Tonight host devised a plan. Oliver and his team created original commercials full of important information set to air early mornings on MSNBC, CNN, and Fox News — the prime places Trump gets his “facts†— in the D.C. area. The ads aim to teach Trump about everything from the unemployment rate to finding a clitoris. “Until we’re shut down,†Oliver said, “we’re prepared to educate Donald Trump one by one on topics we’re pretty sure he doesn’t know about.â€
