Time to dance all night again. The Lincoln Center Theater announced today that it will stage a revival of My Fair Lady directed Bartlett Sher, who also directed recent LCT revivals of The King and I and South Pacific. My Fair Lady first debuted on Broadway in 1956 with Julie Andrews and Rex Harrison, then was later adapted on film in 1964 with Harrison and Audrey Hepburn. The show’s last Broadway revival was in 1993. Performances will begin at the Vivian Beaumont Theater on March 22, 2018, with an opening on April 19. Casting for My Fair Lady hasn’t yet been announced, but we would happily accept a Selfie revival with John Cho and Karen Gillan — though really, odds are Eliza goes to Kelli O’Hara.
