Say, when is Game of Thrones coming back? Well, the series doing things a little differently for its final two seasons: They’ll be shorter than the usual ten, and they’ll also premiere later in the year (to let production shoot in the winter, which you may have heard is coming). But luckily, we now have an official return date, as Thrones announced in a melting block of ice on Facebook Live (a hint for how the Wall will come down?) that its penultimate season will premiere on Sunday, July 16 — more than a year after the season-six finale.
