A Ghost Story had Sundance buzzing with intrigue after its premiere, and now the rest of us get a first look at the trailer. The story of time and mourning begins with C (Casey Affleck) and M (Rooney Mara), a couple who lives in a house that she hates but he loves. After C’s untimely death, he haunts the house as a bed sheet with black eyehole cutouts. Meanwhile, M is trying to move on. (Also, to save you a Google search: The trailer’s song is Dark Rooms’ “I Get Overwhelmed.”) A Ghost Story is the second collaboration for the actors with director David Lowery, after 2013’s Ain’t Them Bodies Saints. See it in theaters July 7.
