T.J. Miller’s new Comedy Central series just got a premiere date. The network announced today that Miller’s The Gorburger Show will premiere Sunday, April 9th at midnight. Ordered to series earlier this year, the show stars Miller as the voice of “a giant blue extra-terrestrial who, after invading a Japanese television variety show and enslaving its staff, settles in as host in an attempt to understand what it means to be human.†The eight-episode debut season will feature Reggie Watts, Larry King, Rob Corddry, Kenny G, Dr. Drew Pinsky, Tig Notaro, and more with “celebrity interviews, musical guests, strange games and other random happenings.†Prior to Comedy Central, The Gorburger Show was a Funny or Die web series then was developed as an HBO pilot back in 2015.
