Jesse Eisenberg is developing his own TV comedy with some help from J.J. Abrams. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Eisenberg is developing a single-cam comedy with Abrams’ production company Bad Robot, which he would write, star in, and direct. Titled The Market, the project centers on “a recently widowed man who moves to Pittsburgh to live with his adult son, Stan (Eisenberg). Both men simultaneously lose their jobs due to the changing American economy and are thrust into an unforgiving job market.†No network is currently attached to the project. Should it land a series order, Eisenberg will serve as a co-executive producer alongside Abrams and Ben Stephenson.
