Here’s a clip from last night’s Late Night, where Seth Meyers takes “A Closer Look� at the news that former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn offered to testify about Trump’s Russia ties in exchange for immunity, how Flynn – and Trump’s – feelings on immunity have conveniently changed now, and the ways Trump is lashing out about unrelated and false accusations in an attempt to distract from the mounting Russia story. “But if Trump really thinks all of the speculation about his ties to Russia is a total scam, there’s one very easy way he can clear up at least some of the concerns, and that’s by releasing his tax returns. Because right now there are major unanswered questions about his potential financial dealings with Russians, but apparently he gets his taxes done at H&R Cockblock,� Meyers says before playing a clip of Sean Spicer giving a super shifty non-response to a reporter asking if Trump plans to release his 2016 returns. “I almost feel bad for Sean Spicer,� Meyers says. “You know that moment your girlfriend sees a text on your phone and says ‘Who’s Lisa?’ That moment is his whole life.�
