Late night TV can be a stressful experience these days due to all the terrible news coming out of the Trump administration, but thanks to Stephen Colbert, there’s now a place you can go that’s somehow both a soothing respite from all the chaos and a perfect summary of it. Similar to his “Fire and Rain†performance with James Taylor back in 2015, during last night’s Late Show, Colbert teamed up with Paul Simon to sing “The 59th Street Bridge Song†with some handy updates to reflect the political climate of 2017 that shows why the US is not exactly feeling groovy these days.
