Seth Meyers Takes “A Closer Look” at Trump’s “Layers and Layers of Lawyers”

Here’s a clip from last night’s Late Night, where Seth Meyers takes “A Closer Look” at the ongoing special counsel investigation of Trump’s ties to Russia and Trump’s lawyer Jay Sekulow appearing on news shows to claim that Trump isn’t under investigation, despite the fact that Trump tweeted that he is under investigation: “Things are so bad Trump’s lawyers have their own lawyers now. He’s got layers and layers of lawyers, and you need layers of lawyers when you’re a liar.” Meyers also looks at the highly anticipated, and highly disappointing, debut of Jared Kushner’s voice: “So that’s the mastermind who tried to set up a secret backchannel with the Russians?!” Meyers says. “His title says Senior Advisor to the President, but his voice says Senior at Claremont High School.”
