Billy Eichner Makes a Strong Case for Why ‘Billy on the Street’ Deserves an Emmy This Year

Here’s a clip from Billy Eichner’s appearance on last night’s Late Night, where he makes a strong case for why Billy on the Street deserves to win the Outstanding Variety Sketch Series Emmy this year despite the steep competition of Saturday Night Live. “I know I’m just supposed to be nice and gracious and happy to be nominated, but that is simply not the case. It wouldn’t be true to myself if I didn’t say these things: Why does Lorne Michaels need another award?� Eichner says. “He’s a TV legend, he has millions of dollars, countless awards, and a lifelong friendship with Paul Simon. You know what I have?
