FXX Renews ‘You’re the Worst’ for a Fifth and Final Season

The end is near for You’re the Worst. According to Variety, FXX has handed out a season 5 renewal to Stephen Falk’s comedy series, and they’ve “jointly decided” to end the show after the next batch of episodes. The news comes ahead of tonight’s season 4 finale airing at 10:00pm. “Making You’re the Worst has been an incredible experience and FX Networks have been dream partners,” said Falk on the news. “I am thankful to have the opportunity to be thoroughly judged whether or not we ‘stick the landing’ – which is a thing people say now that stupid Breaking Bad had to end so damn perfectly.” The show originally debuted on FX back in July 2014.
