Seth Meyers Takes “A Closer Look� at Roy Moore and Those Who Defend Him

Here’s a clip from last night’s Late Night, where Seth Meyers takes “A Closer Look� at Trump’s recent comments regarding Kim Jong-un as well as Vladimir Putin and Russia meddling in the election: “Did we elect a president or one of the South Park kids?!� Meyers also looks at Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore and the women who have come forward to allege he assaulted or pursued them sexually when they were underage, plus the disgusting lengths his allies and fellow right-wingers have gone to defend his behavior. “Also, let’s not forget that even before these latest revelations, Moore was deeply unfit for office. He disobeyed court rulings, said 9/11 was God’s punishment for sodomy, believes homosexual behavior should be illegal, and said Muslims should be barred from serving in Congress,� Meyers says. “And now, he’s accused of molesting a child. This should be a no-brainer, and yet many Republicans are caught between their rabid right-wing base and basic human decency.�
