Seth Meyers Takes “A Closer Look� at Trump, Roy Moore, and Charlie Rose

Here’s a clip from last night’s Late Night, where Seth Meyers takes “A Closer Look� at Trump backing Alabama Senate candidate and accused child molester Roy Moore because, as Trump put it, Moore denies the allegations, so they must be lies. “And in fairness to Trump, who are you gonna believe: nine women who don’t know each other and whose stories have been corroborated by dozens of independent sources, or a guy who looks like the Marlboro Man’s deadbeat dad?� Meyers says, noting that Trump also denounced Moore’s Democratic opponent Doug Jones and called him “soft on crime� despite his long career as a prosecutor. “He’s soft on crime? You’re siding with an accused child molester over a guy who prosecuted the KKK. You’re so soft you look like a tub of melted Play-Doh.� Finally, Meyers covers the latest wave of sexual harassment and assault allegations against Charlie Rose, New York Times reporter Glenn Thrush, and Michigan Congressman John Conyers: “So as a swirl of horrifying sexual harassment allegations consumes virtually every aspect of society, President Trump is publicly standing by an accused sexual predator. Nine women have accused Roy Moore of sexual assault, and Trump doesn’t seem to care.�
