David Wain’s movie about National Lampoon founder Doug Kenney has an official premiere date on Netflix. Wain announced on Twitter today that the film, titled A Futile and Stupid Gesture, makes its Netflix debut on Friday, January 26th:
The project was originally announced back in 2016 when Will Forte signed on to star as Kenney, and the cast also includes Paul Scheer, Tom Lennon, Domhnall Gleeson, Natasha Lyonne, Joel McHale, Jackie Tohn, Jon Daly, and more.
