To promote her new book about her late brother Harris Wittels – titled Everything Is Horrible and Wonderful: A Tragicomic Memoir of Genius, Heroin, Love, and Loss – Stephanie Wittels Wachs stopped by last night’s Late Night and chatted with Seth Meyers about her brother’s life, career, talent, tweets, addiction, death, and why she decided to write the book. “Harris was a comedian and a human being who all the comedians that we all love think was the funniest. So he’s the first place, everyone else is second. So sorry, you can’t ever be first!†she tells Meyers. “If you’ve heard the word ‘humblebrag,’ that’s his handiwork. He came up with it. I see it everywhere now, he’s never credited, so I feel like he’s really arrived.†Watch the full interview above, and if you haven’t purchased her book yet, head over to Amazon to order a copy.
