It’s been awhile since we’ve seen Selina Meyer take a (metaphorical) dump on the glass ceiling and shave her (literal) muff into the sink of the boys’ club, but our insult queen is back — and just in time to hit the campaign trail to pander to America’s “disgusting†dummies. So begins the premise of Veep’s final season, which finds Selina (a cancer free Julia Louis-Dreyfus) and her ragtag team trying one last time to ascend to our country’s highest political office, even if it means, ugh, having to suck it up and treat “all†people with respect. The show returns March 31. The Emmys are thrilled.
