Hulu’s Shrill will not be backing away quietly. The show starring Saturday Night Live’s Aidy Bryant (and produced by SNL creator Lorne Michaels) will return for a second season. Season one, which was based off Lindy West’s memoirs, Shrill: Notes From a Loud Woman, quickly became a critical favorite when it premiere in March and featured an almost completely from scrap wardrobe and an inspiring pool party. The second season will be eight episodes instead of six, and is set for a 2020 release. Let’s hope the second season brings more stylish clothing and better boyfriends.
