Teenagers Fact-Check Iconic High-School Movies

High school has been the setting for some of film and television’s most iconic coming-of-age stories. From ’80s classics like The Breakfast Club to more modern takes on the genre like To All the Boy I’ve Loved Before, the teenage years are overflowing with drama, angst, and intrigue. But is high school really as dramatic as movies make it seem? We asked two real-life high-schoolers to fact-check some scenes from high-school movies and TV shows.
