Today, the streaming service announced that it has renewed Jordan Peele and Simon Kinberg’s updated version of The Twilight Zone for a second season. The show is currently airing its first season on the site, with new episodes appearing each Thursday. The cast includes Ike Barinholtz, Zazie Beetz, John Cho, Lucinda Dryzek, Taissa Farmiga, James Frain, Betty Gabriel, Ginnifer Goodwin, Zabryna Guevara, Percy Hynes-White, Greg Kinnear, Luke Kirby, Sanaa Lathan, Kumail Nanjiani, Chris O’Dowd, Seth Rogen, Adam Scott, Rhea Seehorn, Alison Tolman, Jacob Tremblay, Jefferson White, Jonathan Whitesell, Jessica Williams, DeWanda Wise, and Steven Yeun. We can only assume that the second season will continue the show’s grand tradition of socially conscious sci-fi and also give us more long lists of cool actors to copy and paste into news posts.
