On Sunday NBC announced their decision to renew the hit Dan Fogelman family drama for three more seasons, bringing it up through the sixth season. As of now, there’s no indication the sixth will necessarily be the show’s last, either. The Vietnam war, terminal illness, the whole crockpot incident: Here you thought the Pearsons had been through a lot already, but oh boy, they are just getting started.
