Two shows, both based on graphic novels, have been canceled by Syfy. Happy!, in which Christopher Meloni plays an ex-cop turned hit man with a cartoon unicorn sidekick voiced by Patton Oswalt, will not be returning for its third season, according to Deadline. It has, however, reportedly been performing well on Netflix in several “key demos†(oooo!), and so it’s entirely possible that this could save it from the television abyss. Many are hoping the same for Deadly Class, which takes place in a high school for assassins. It was also canceled by Syfy today after only one season on the network, but it did see stronger linear ratings than Happy!, which could help it find a new home, too.
