Update your drinking game. Master the pronunciation of Cabernet Sauvignon. Invest in some decent Williams-Sonoma stemware — and fast. Because Vulture can exclusively confirm that Dominic West is joining season three of Hulu’s The Wine Show, on which he’ll be paired with seasoned grape veterans Matthew Goode, Matthew Rhys, and James Purefoy as they frolic around Portuguese vineyards in perfect harmony. (Experts Amelia Singer, Jaega Wise, and Joe Fattorini will return as well.) The season will consist of seven episodes and has begun filming in Lisbon, Alentejo, and the Douro Valley; and it’s set to debut on Hulu sometime in 2020. For the sober folks out there, The Wine Show doubles as a travel and lifestyle program, with the group of foxy presenters vineyard hopping to learn about the art of winemaking. While season one found Rhys and Goode traveling around Italy, season two paired Goode and Purefoy in France. Season four, we can only hope, will add Vulture’s entire staff in Sonoma.
