Met Gala 2022: All the Looks [Photos]

Though it feels too soon to be true, the 2022 Met Gala is here. That means it is the night for fashion, so buckle up and enjoy the theme “gilded glamour.” What does that mean, you ask? According to my colleague Emilia Petrarca, “It means excess — but an excess deeply rooted in tradition. First of all, ‘white tie’ is even more formal and old school than black tie. Yes, it literally means white ties, but it also means floor-length gowns for women and a black jacket or coat with tails for men.”

And as far as who will be there: So far, the only confirmed names are the event’s co-chairs Regina King, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and Lin-Manuel Miranda as well as designer Tom Ford, Instagram’s Adam Mosseri, and, of course, Anna Wintour. According to “Page Six,” all the Kardashian women were invited for the first time ever, so that means Pete Davidson and Travis Barker will also be there.
