Mehdi started his career as an agency writer, but soon found his niche in personal finance for one of the UK’s biggest financial comparison sites, MoneySuperMarket. He spent five years working up from contract writer to content manager before moving to a startup as a lead writer for its remittance comparison service. During this time Mehdi also contributed to technology publications in the UK as well as writing small business articles and guides for USAToday.

Outside of personal finance, Mehdi is also an aspiring novelist and keen traveller with a passion for nature and wildlife as well as soccer, cricket and tennis. He once scored 167 ten-pin bowling, and enjoys cooking pasta. He also likes neoclassical architecture, and Canmore, Alberta, Canada.
