We particularly like the free plan option for solopreneurs, but keep in mind that it’s limited in features. Buffer is the only other provider on our list to offer a free plan (and, spoiler alert, we think it’s a little better than Zoho’s free plan).

In our opinion, SocialPilot offers one of the best deals in terms of the number of social profiles you can connect for the money (starting at $30 per month for seven accounts). By comparison, Hootsuite’s $99 per month plan only gets you 10 accounts, and with Buffer, you’d pay $42 per month for seven accounts. With SocialPilot’s Ultimate plan, you’ll get a whopping 50 accounts for $200 per month. Sprout Social’s $249 per month plan only gets you five connected accounts.
Overall, SocialPilot offers all the basic features you need: scheduling and posting, calendars, an image editor and a social inbox. We like that even the cheapest plan gives team collaboration options, which many competitors reserve for higher tiers. However, the cheapest plan for $30 a month doesn’t include any analytics or reporting, which is a shame considering other tools offer at least basic analytics with their free or lowest-priced plans.
