’Tis the season to save a little money. With streaming services constantly raising subscription prices this past year, it’s high time for us to write about streamers that are dropping prices, even if it’s for a limited time. Prominent streaming services like Hulu, Max, and Paramount+ (now with Showtime; hello, The Curse and Yellowjackets) have all revealed steeply discounted deals, valid from three months to up to a year of savings. Read on below to get all the details we have on the generous deals.

Hulu

After recently bumping up its price to 18 whole dollars, Hulu is making up for that with probably the best deal of this bunch. From November 21 to November 28, the streamer is offering a year-long subscription for just 99 cents a month for its ad-supported tier. Even better is that the sale exists for new and existing subscribers. It’s a bit of a bummer that it’s only for the ad-supported tier, but a win is a win, we suppose. Hulu is also including a premium add-on sale for those who want access to STARZ. (Minx, anyone?) For the next seven days, subscribers can opt into the STARZ add-on for, again, only 99 cents a month, though this only lasts for six months.

Max

Shaving off seven dollars from its usual pricing, Max’s sale offers its ad-supported tier subscription for $2.99 per month for up to six months. The streamer said the “70 percent†off sale is available to purchase through November 27, teasing in the same release that Barbie is “coming soon†to Max. So feel the Kenergy of the major savings — for, again, only six months, though.

Paramount+

Trying to see what the hell is up with The Curse? Well, Paramount+’s sale includes two plans: Paramount+ Essential and Paramount+ with Showtime. The latter subscription tier, which includes access to Benny Safdie and Nathan Fielder’s weird-ass show, is priced at $3.99 a month for three months while the former ad-supported tier is priced at $1.99 a month for three months. Both sales are available to purchase until December 3.

Peacock

And another deal for ad-supported subscriptions! Peacock is joining in the sales to give subscribers a year of access to their service for $1.99 per month, instead of its usual $5.99, with the code BIGDEAL. If you want to pay off the whole year at time of purchase though, you can use the code YEARLONG to pay only $19.99. You may not get Peacock in time to see The Super Mario Bros. Movie, but at least there’s Suits.

Philo

Available through November 28, Philo is giving, barely. New subscribers to the service can get 50 percent off their first month, whittling the typical $25 dollars a month price tag down to $12.50. But again, it’s only for one month. How nice.
