It’s almost time. The Golden Globes is kicking off the 2025 awards season on Sunday, January 5. It’s returning to CBS for the second year in a row and adding in first-time host Nikki Glaser, who’s coming in with high expectations. It’s not just the host coming in with a lot of buzz; top nominees Emilia Pérez and The Substance are also highly anticipated to score some wins and depending on how you feel about the new season of Squid Game, you might be rooting for or against their pre-premiere nominations. Nonetheless, no matter who you’re cheering for, they’ll probably be a little tipsy so you’ll be tuning in. This is how you can watch the show live on Sunday.

How to watch the Golden Globes live:

If you want to watch on classic network television, the awards show will be live on CBS beginning at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. However, if you have Paramount+, you can also watch live there as well.

How to stream the red carpet coverage:

There are a few red-carpet options to pregame the big show. Live From E!: Golden Globes is live on E! from 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT; Variety and Entertainment Tonight are collaborating for the official preshow, so it’ll have a handful of places you can stream the show, beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT: Variety social platforms, ETOnline.com, ET’s YouTube Channel, ET’s streaming network, and on the Golden Globes website.
