Harrison Ford has dropped out of presenting at Sunday’s Oscars ceremony after being diagnosed with Shingles on Friday, February 28. Entertainment Weekly reported that the Shrinking actor is “doing okay and is resting after the diagnosis” and he let the Academy know he won’t be able to attend this morning. While Ford was not nominated for this year’s show, he’s been a social butterfly lately, making his co-star Jessica Williams laugh while she was telling the SAG awards why she became an actor. There’s no word yet on who would replace him or who he was supposed to present with. But surely, if Williams is available as a replacement, she would have an easier time speaking without her favorite distraction.
