If you are looking to avoid spoilers for the House of the Dragon finale airing August 4, maybe avoid all social-media platforms until then. It will give your brain time to go back to normal a little. Footage from the finale has leaked on TikTok — via the now-banned account @got_S20 — then on Twitter and Reddit and probably every other site on the internet from there. So while the original source is gone, the video is still out in the ether. “The clips were posted after an unintentional release from an international third-party distributor,†an HBO spokesperson said in a statement. “HBO is aggressively monitoring and removing clips from the internet, and fans can watch the episode in its entirety this Sunday night on HBO and Max.â€

The leak entailed about 30 minutes of footage, according to Variety. We’re not exactly sure what the benefit of watching half an hour of footage from an episode that will air in less than a week is, especially when the plot is based on a book that has been out the whole time. Still, fingers crossed those fans are getting their life watching Alicent Hightower say to Grand Maester Orwyle — oop, never mind. David Zaslav just showed up and he’s holding a big sword.
