Sounds Like Netflix Didn’t Actually Have a Polin Allergy

If Lady Whistledown herself can’t set the record straight, then we don’t know who can. Nicola Coughlan has dismissed the rumors that parts of Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton’s romance were cut from the latest season of Bridgerton. A Change.org petition that currently has more than 68,000 signatures claims that advance screeners included footage that was later scrapped. A list of allegedly deleted content includes scenes of angry kissing, foreplay in front of a mirror, and a “long intimate montage†in which Colin performs oral sex. But when a fan brought up the “deleted scenes†on Coughlan’s Instagram, she replied in a comment, “aaah this is just a rumour! I think you got all the Polin we had but there’s lots of BTS still to share â¤ï¸.†Given that the actress stipulates in her contract that Netflix must send her parents a PG cut, it sounds like Mr. and Mrs. Coughlan might be the only ones who are actually getting a version of the show that gatekeeps moments of the main couple’s love story. So what should all these people asking Netflix for content now redirect their energy into? We personally wouldn’t mind more behind-the-scenes videos of Eloise eating up viral dances.
