If they want to do a Beavis and Butt-Head live-action, then they should just say that. On Tuesday, Ryan Gosling walked the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere for his upcoming movie, The Fall Guy. Pretty standard stuff — except for the fact that he was accompanied by Mikey Day and his very exposed gums. The pair showed up wearing the Beavis and Butt-Head costumes and prosthetics from a recent Saturday Night Live sketch where they played guys who coincidentally looked like the cartoon characters in question. So did Gosling just not feel like putting on formal wear tonight? Probably not, since he posed in a suit for pictures with co-star Emily Blunt earlier during the event. He later took the time to change into a Death Rock tee and don a blonde wig and prosthetic nose. Hey, in a world of fast fashion, we’ll celebrate the recycling of ’fits. Plus, any looks that can make Heidi Gardner break are worth keeping. Gardner later reflected to Vulture that she “just couldn’t prepare†for what she saw. We’re sure the red-carpet photographers from tonight would agree.
