Sabrina Brier is going landscape video format. The comedian, known mainly for her TikTok (but also a guest starring role on Abbott Elementary) is adapting her audiobook into a TV show. Deadline is reporting that Awesomeness TV is developing That Friend, the audiobook based on Brier’s front-facing comedy persona. “I am thrilled to be continuing the journey of That Friend whose story began as online short-form material and evolved into a full-cast audiobook,” Brier said in a statement. “I’m beyond grateful to have the opportunity to collaborate with the creative powerhouse that is Awesomeness TV to expand the world of something, or should I say someone, so close to my heart.”

That Friend started as a recurring character on Brier’s TikTok. It then became an audiobook with guest appearances from the likes of Danielle Brooks, Nicola Coughlan, Lukas Gage, and the Rachels Dratch and Zegler. The series will follow a twenty something would-be influencer in New York, who tries to start a podcast and stay close to her three best friends. So if And Just Like That’s premise was set during The Carrie Diaries time period. No word on where the show will land, but Awesomeness TV has worked with Netflix, Hulu, and Nickelodeon, as well as making their own YouTube series.

Correction: An earlier version of this post referred to the title as That Girl.
